What are the typical work hours and schedule for travel nurses?

Work hours and schedules for travel nurses are often like those of regular staff nurses, with 8 or12-hour shifts being common. Travel nurses need to be flexible since they are filling staffing gaps. This means your schedule may vary depending on the facility's needs and your specialty. If you have any specific scheduling needs, make sure to communicate them clearly to your recruiter.  We will try to get you the contract you want.

How do I travel to my contract?
Traveling to your contract is all about what works best for you! Whether you choose to fly or drive depends on several factors. Flying is a great option if you’re looking for a quicker commute, need to arrive in a time-sensitive situation, or want to avoid long solo road trips.
On the other hand, many travel nurses prefer driving so they can have their car during their days off, enjoy scenic routes, bring along more belongings, or travel with family or pets. Ultimately, the choice is yours! Whatever you decide, we’re here to support you every step of the way!
What type of housing do you offer?

Our clients pay for housing, and some of them may already have housing for you. If they do not have housing our Housing Team will work with you to organize your housing.
